Bossed or magnetic?
Effect wheels have either a bossed or magnetic fitting - please be sure to choose the right type. You may need the Magnetic Wheel Rotator Adaptor to fit a magnetic wheel. Click here for more information.
Please expect longer lead times on bossed wheels showing as 'to order'.
Use this effect through smoke or haze to produce a quite random scanning of two wavy beams, like a laser effect through the air. See our video clip to see just how good it looks!
Also try adding some colour filter to the wheel itself, or in front of the projector lens.
This '575 Safe' type is suitable for use with ALL OPTI and compatible projectors including GoBoShow, GoBoPro, K2, K2+, K4 and Solar 575.
On OPTI Solar and K range projectors mount the effect wheel on a Solar Wheel Rotator in the rear gate (closest to the lamp) and on OPTI GoBoShow/Pro projectors mount the wheel on a GoBoShow Wheel Rotator with the wheel approx 15mm from the projector light output as described in the user manual.
